Suspected jihadists launched coordinated attacks early Tuesday over seven military sites across western Mali, according to the Malian army.
The army said in a statement that the attacks occurred “very early this morning” and targeted several positions in the western region, including Kayes, Nioro, Sandare, Gogui, and Diboli towns.
No casualties have been reported so far.
The Malian military added that it is closely monitoring the situation and will release further details as the investigation unfolds. Enditem
