Ukraine’s grain, legume exports dive 20.5 pct in 2024-2025 marketing year

The exports of grain and legumes from Ukraine slumped 20.5 percent to about 40.6 million tons in the 2024-2025 marketing year, the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry reported Tuesday.

   Between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025, Ukraine supplied 15.7 million tons of wheat overseas, down from 18.5 million tons in the previous period.

   The corn exports plummeted about 25.6 percent to 21.9 million tons, while those of barley dropped 8.5 percent to 2.3 million tons.

   In June alone, Ukraine exported some 2.2 million tons of grain and legumes.  Enditem
