The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the provisional results of the 2026 WASSCE for School Candidates in Ghana, according to a statement from the examination body late Friday.
A total of 512,862 candidates from 1,022 schools were registered for the examination, representing an 11.07% increase over the 2025 candidature.
However, WAEC cancelled or withheld results of 8,295 candidates over various examination irregularities. This includes the cancellation of entire results of 861 candidates for possessing mobile phones and subject results of 7,434 candidates for bringing foreign materials into examination halls.
