Police to o deploy personnel to all 19 polling stations in Ablekuma parliamentary rerun

The police will deploy personnel to all 19 polling stations within the Ablekuma North Constituency for the parliamentary rerun scheduled to take place tomorrow, according to a statement released here Thursday.

The statement, signed by Superintendent Juliana Obeng, Head of Public Affairs at the Accra Region, observed that the police will monitor vehicular and pedestrian traffic around the voting areas.

“The Accra Regional Police Command wishes to assure the public of its preparedness to provide adequate security before, during, and after the parliamentary rerun at Ablekuma North Constituency scheduled to take place on Friday, July 11, 2025,” read the statement.

Strategic barriers, according to the police, will also be mounted to prevent unauthorized access to polling centres

The Accra Regional Police Command appealed to members of the public to cooperate fully with security personnel, observe electoral rules, and help maintain a peaceful atmosphere throughout the election. Enditem
