Presidency launches series on govt accountability to enhance transparency

The Presidency Communications Office will, on Monday, 14th July 2025, commence the Government Accountability Series as part of efforts to promote transparency and accountability in governance, according to a notice on Sunday.

The initiative will provide a platform for key sectoral ministers to present mid-year updates and offer a preliminary assessment of the government’s performance over the past six months to the public.

The Presidency Communications Office has scheduled the series thrice weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 11 a.m.

Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, Minister for the Interior, is set to commence the series with a presentation on developments within the security and interior sectors. Enditem
