Ghana’s U-17 male football national team, the Black Starlets have been drawn in Group D for the 21st edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, according to a draw at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football in Cairo on Wednesday.
The Black Starlets, have been paired alongside 2023 champions Senegal, Algeria, finalists in 2009 and South Africa, who finished runners-up in the 2015 edition.
Ghana, on the other hand, have lifted the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations twice in 1995 and 1999 while finishing as runners-up in 2005 and 2017.
The 2026 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations will be hosted by Morocco from May 13 to June 2. Enditem
