The police has arrested a 40-year-old man for assaulting a woman in a viral video, according to the Central Regional Police Command on Sunday.
The statement, signed by Chief Inspector Isaac Evans Ettie of the Public Affairs Unit of the Central Police Command, said the police received a report on March 27 at 9:30 p.m. that the suspect, Samuel Bills Acquah has assaulted a woman with whom he has a child with at Bakano, Cape Coast.
The police explained that upon receiving the information, personnel were sent to the crime scene and arrested the suspect.
Meanwhile, the suspect, who is currently in police custody assisting with investigation will be arraigned before the court on Monday, March 20, 2026. Enditem
