Gabonese President Oligui Nguema to pay three-day official visit to Ghana from July 28

President of the Republic of Gabon, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, will undertake a three-day official visit to Ghana from July 28 to 30, 2026, at the invitation of President John Dramani Mahama, according to the presidency over the weekend.

According to a statement from the Presidency, President Oligui Nguema will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising government ministers, senior officials, and members of Gabon’s business community.

The visit is expected to further strengthen the longstanding diplomatic and economic ties between Ghana and Gabon.

During the visit, Presidents Mahama and Oligui Nguema will hold a private tête-à-tête before leading their respective delegations in official bilateral talks at the Jubilee House in Accra. Discussions will focus on reviewing existing cooperation and identifying new areas for collaboration aimed at promoting sustainable economic development and deepening bilateral relations.

The Presidency described the visit as another significant milestone in the growing partnership between Ghana and Gabon, underscoring the two countries’ shared commitment to enhancing cooperation for the mutual benefit of their peoples. Enditem
