The Ghana Education Service (GES) has opened applications for the recruitment of new teachers, inviting qualified graduates to apply for positions across the country, according to a vacancy notice on Friday.
In the notice, the Service said it is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals with a Bachelor of Education degree or related qualifications to join its workforce.
Successful applicants, according to the GES, will be expected to deliver teaching using modern, technology-driven methods, support learners with diverse educational needs, and help students develop strong research skills using digital tools.
Teachers will also be required to assess student performance using a variety of methods while adhering to national professional and ethical standards.
The Service emphasised that applicants must demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development to stay updated with evolving teaching practices.
To qualify, applicants must hold a degree in education or a relevant degree with a postgraduate diploma or certificate in education. They must have completed their National Service, possess a valid teaching licence from the National Teaching Council, and show strong communication and classroom management skills.
