Accra Hearts of Oak opened the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season with a 4-0 win against Berekum Chelsea at the University of Ghana Stadium at Legon on Sunday.
Vision FC and Samartex 1996 also did begin their campaign on high following 3-0 and 3-1 wins over Young Apostles and Karela United respectively.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko however played a 2-2 draw with newly promoted Debibi United away.
The Dreams FC vs. Medeama game was postponed due to Medeama’s CAF Champions League engagement.
