Flood waters have covered the Tema-Akosombo main road after hours of torrential rainfall from Sunday night to Monday morning.
The main highway is heavily flooded, making movement by drivers and commuters difficult to navigate.
Sections of the road from the Afienya tollbooth to the Afienya Police Station have been severely flooded and are currently covered by rainwater.
Road users are advised to exercise extreme caution, reduce speed, and follow the instructions of traffic officers where present. If possible, consider using alternative routes until the floodwaters recede. Enditem
