FC Barcelona unveiled German forward Karim Adeyemi on Thursday after completing his move from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund on a five-year contract until 2031.
Footage shows Adeyemi posing with a home shirt bearing the number 2031 before greeting photographers and appearing alongside his family during the presentation.
“I can’t wait to play in the stadium in front of the fans. I’m just happy to do it all together and just play football. This is the dream I have,” Adeyemi said.
The 24-year-old joins the Catalan club in a deal reportedly worth €22 million, with up to €7 million in performance-related bonuses.
Adeyemi scored 36 goals in 146 appearances during four seasons with Borussia Dortmund.
He also reunites with Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick, who handed him his senior Germany debut.
The forward is Barca’s second summer arrival, following Anthony Gordon’s high-profile €80 million switch from Newcastle United last month.
