The Organising Committee of the West & Central Africa Mining Summit & Expo (WaCA Mining) is
pleased to announce that the 12th edition of the Summit & Expo will now take place on 21-22 April
2027.
The decision follows extensive consultation with strategic partners and stakeholders to ensure the
event is optimally positioned within the international mining calendar and delivers maximum value
for all participants.
As one of the leading mining investment and business platforms in West and Central Africa, WaCA
Mining brings together mining policymakers, mining companies, development finance institutions,
EPC contractors, technology providers, equipment manufacturers and professional service firms to
discuss opportunities, address industry challenges and foster strategic partnerships.
The move to 21-22 April 2027 reflects the Organising Committee’s commitment to enhancing the
overall quality and international reach of the event.
By rescheduling the Summit to April, participants will benefit from:
- Better alignment with the global mining conference calendar, allowing companies to build
upon discussions and investment initiatives established during major international mining
events held earlier in the year.
- Increased availability of senior executives & government officials, resulting in stronger highlevel participation.
- Greater certainty for international delegates and exhibitors in planning travel and business
engagements amidst the evolving global business and travel environment. - Expanded opportunities for exhibitors, sponsors and solution providers to engage mining
companies as they implement annual investment, procurement and project development
plans. - An enhanced conference programme featuring thought leaders, technical experts, curated
panel session & technology showcases.
