Highlife legend Daddy Lumba reported dead

Ghana highlife legend, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba is reported dead, confirmed a statement by his family on Saturday.

According to the statement signed by Fati Ali Yallah, Esq., Counsel for the Fosu Family, the music icon passed away earlier Saturday after a short illness.

“With profound sorrow and deep grief, the Fosu family announces the passing of Ghana’s beloved musical icon, Charles Kojo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, who passed away earlier today, Saturday, July 26, after a short illness,” said the statement.

The statement described Daddy Lumba as a ‘cultural icon’ whose music touched countless lives.

The statement requested for privacy for the family and loved ones as they navigate this difficult moment. Enditem
