Flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and former Vice President, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia engaged in a high-level breakfast meeting with European Union (EU) Ambassadors in the national capital, Accra on Tuesday.
The meeting brought together Heads of Mission from ten EU member states including Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Malta, alongside a delegation from the European Union.
Dr. Bawumia mentioned the issues that the discussions were centered on with the EU Ambassadors.
“Our constructive and forward-looking discussions focused on shared priorities, including regional security, deepening economic cooperation, as well as expanding investment opportunities in Ghana,” said the NPP flagbearer.

“I also reiterated my steadfast commitment to strengthening Ghana’s democratic institutions, advancing sustainable economic growth, and promoting inclusive social development,” added the former Vice President.
Dr. Bawumia was elected the flagbearer of the largest opposition party in the country to lead the NPP in the 2028 presidential election. Enditem
