Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has met with commercial quarry operators to discuss best practices with industry players, according to a post on Wednesday.
According to the post, the discussion centered on practical steps to strengthen the industry, create more job opportunities, support the growth of the Ghanaian economy as well as ensure responsible environmental management.
“This morning, I met with the Commercial Quarry Operators Association as part of my ongoing policy dialogue series. Our discussion focused on practical steps to strengthen the quarrying industry, create more jobs, support economic growth and ensure responsible environmental management,” the former Vice President posted.
He expressed his delight with the insights shared by the industry players as according to him, “we work together to develop solutions that benefit both the sector and our communities.” Enditem
