Black Queens climb up to 59th in latest Women’s FIFA Ranking

Ghana’s senior women’s national team, the Black Queens, have climbed three places in the latest FIFA Women’s World Rankings released late Tuesday.

The Black Queens moved from previous 62nd on the rankings to 59th globally reflecting the team’s improved performances in recent months.

On the African continent, Ghana remains among the elite sides, holding 3rd place in Africa, behind Nigeria and South Africa.

The Black Queens are currently preparing for the upcoming 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) scheduled for Morocco from July 25 to Aug. 16 this year. Enditem
