Newly appointed Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz is set to unveil his plans for Ghana’s national team when he meets the media on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Alisa Hotel in the national capital, Accra, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed.
According to the Football Association, the press conference is scheduled at 1:00 p.m. local time.
The GFA says the Portuguese tactician will use the platform to outline his vision for the Black Stars, explain his technical philosophy, and address questions ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
The event will also serve as his formal introduction to the Ghanaian public after his appointment last week, replacing Otto Addo. Queiroz brings vast international experience and is preparing Ghana for its fifth World Cup appearance.
Ghana have been drawn in Group L alongside England, Croatia, and Panama, making Queiroz’s first public briefing highly anticipated by fans and the media. Enditem
