Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in New Delhi on a working visit to attend the 18th BRICS summit.
Footage filmed overnight from Thursday into Friday shows the Russian leader shaking hands with members of the welcoming delegation and getting into a car.
According to the Kremlin press service, the president’s working visit to New Delhi will run from 11 to September 13. On Friday, Putin will address the plenary session of the annual BRICS Business Forum and attend the Innoprom exhibition alongside Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On Saturday, the leaders will take part in a BRICS summit session before meeting in an expanded format and signing the final documents on Sunday. The Russian president is also expected to hold several other bilateral talks.
