President John Dramani Mahama has reassigned Minister for Labour, Employment and Job Creation Abdul Rashid Pelpuo, and Deputy Defence Minister Ernest Brogya Genfi, according to a statement from the Presidency on Wednesday.
The statement, signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Spokesperson to the President and Minister for Communications, said Rashid Pelpuo has been reassigned as Minister of State for Special Initiatives while Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum replaces him at the Labour Ministry.
Brogya Genfi, on the other hand, has been reassigned as a Presidential Advisor on National Resilience and Emergency Preparedness.
The statement added the reassignments take immediate effect. Enditem
