To enhance service delivery and improve public access, the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) will commence extended services hours across selected offices across the country from May 4, 2026, according to a statement on Thursday.
The offices, Narhman, Weija, Tema, Bolgatanga, Wa, Tamale, Takoradi, and Cape Coast spread across the country will operate up to 10:00 p.m daily using a structured two-shift system.
The rest are Koforidua, Sunyani, Ho, Techiman, Kumasi, Winneba, and Tarkwa.
“The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) will, effective Monday, May 4, 2026, introduce extended service hours across selected offices as part of efforts to enhance service delivery and improve public access,” read the statement.
The DVLA urged the public to take advantage of the extended service hours to access services directly.
The Authority further appealed to the public for their cooperation as it works diligently to fully operationalize a 24-hour service framework across the offices. Enditem
