Hon. Frederick Opare-Ansah will chair the National Elections Committee of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), according to a statement from the party on Wednesday after the inauguration of the committee.
The statement, signed from the Office of the Acting National Chairman mentioned Hon. Abena Osei Asare as the Secretary to the committee.
The full committee is composed of the following:
Hon. Frederick Opare-Ansah – Chairman
Hon. Abena Osei Asare – Secretary
Mr. Evans Nimako – Member
Madam Oboshie Sai Cofie – Member
Hon. Anthony Abayifa Karbo – Member
Hon. Salam Ama Appianin Damata – Member
Mr. Eric Ntori – Member
Mr. Frank Davies, Esq. – Member
Ashanti Regional Chairman – Member (to assume office upon the conclusion of the Ashanti Regional Elections)
The mandate of the committee among other things is to plan, organise and superintend over the processes leading to the National Conference for the election of National Officers of the Party as well as the conduct of the elections.
The Party extends its congratulations to the Committee members and expresses confidence in their ability to discharge their responsibilities with integrity, fairness, transparency, and professionalism in the best interest of the New Patriotic Party. Enditem
